Q: How does EasyAsPi work?
EasyAsPi uses adaptive learning technology to adjust question difficulty based on your child's performance. The app downloads fresh questions once when it loads, then works offline to provide personalized math and science challenges for K-8 students.
Q: Does EasyAsPi require an internet connection?
EasyAsPi requires internet only once when the app first loads to download fresh questions. After this initial download, the app works completely offline. No internet connection is needed during learning sessions.
Q: Is my child's data safe?
Absolutely! EasyAsPi collects zero personal information. All progress data (scores, achievements, streaks) is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers. We only download educational content - we never upload any data about your child.
Q: What ages is EasyAsPi appropriate for?
EasyAsPi is designed for K-8 students (ages 5-14). The adaptive learning engine automatically adjusts difficulty levels to match your child's current skill level, making it suitable for a wide range of abilities within this age group.
Q: How do I reset my child's progress?
You can reset progress within the app's settings menu. Look for the "Reset Progress" option in the Parent Zone. This will clear all scores, achievements, and streak data while keeping the app's educational content intact.
Q: Can multiple children use the same device?
Currently, EasyAsPi tracks progress for one learner per device. If multiple children will be using the app, consider resetting progress between users or using separate devices for the best personalized learning experience.
Q: Why isn't the app loading new questions?
If you're not seeing fresh questions, try closing and reopening the app while connected to the internet. The app downloads new questions once per session when it loads. Make sure you have a stable internet connection during app startup.
Troubleshooting
App Won't Start or Crashes
Quick Fix: Try these steps in order:
- Force close the app and reopen it
- Restart your device
- Check for app updates in the App Store
- Ensure you have adequate storage space (at least 100MB free)
- If problems persist, delete and reinstall the app
Questions Not Loading
Solution:
- Ensure you have a stable internet connection when first opening the app
- Close and reopen the app to trigger a fresh download
- Check that you're not in airplane mode or have restricted internet access
- Try switching between WiFi and cellular data
Sound Issues
Check These Settings:
- Device volume is turned up
- Silent/mute switch is off
- Sound is enabled in the app settings
- Other apps can play sound normally
Performance Issues (Slow or Laggy)
Performance Tips:

- Restart your device to free up memory
